This week's big question comes from one of my readers, GyrlCodz98, who asks:
"I am a big fan of yours from Wattpad. I've read everything you have written and wonder, do you prefer to write poetry or stories? And why?"
That's actually a really good question and there is no easy answer. When I write, it's based on the emotions I feel during that particular moment. Usually when my emotions are more on the high side, be it happiness and joy, or sadness and grief, I write poetry.
The stories I write are also based on friends, family, things I have been through, and emotions I have felt. However, it takes some serious concentration and time to be able to sit down and write a book. Then comes the hard part: the editing process which takes more than three times as long for me to do. But I must admit, there is a certain level of satisfaction that comes to me whenever I do finish a book- whether or not I have readers who like it or hate it. I write for myself and because it is my brand of therapy which hopes me cope with the slippery slopes of life.
